Family Enterprise Canada (FEC) grants one Continuing Education (CE) credit for every hour of education. FEC requires every FEA Designate to complete 7 CE credits every calendar year. CE credits must be submitted by 31st December. Extra CE hours above the 7 required can not be carried forward into future years. A detailed outline of our Continuing Education policies can be found on our website (familyenterprise.ca).
FEC will conduct random audits to verify submitted CE credits. Designates should keep a detailed record for this purpose. If you cannot attend an FEC event you registered for, you must cancel your registration to ensure your CE credit report is accurate.
The annual certifications tracks your requirement of 7 continuing education credits per year (January 1 – December 31) related to family enterprise.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 7 CE credits are required from January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2021. Beginning January 1, 2022, 7 CE credits will be required annually.
